Alexandra Raisman

Aly Raisman is a gold-medal-winning Olympic gymnast, who led the U.S. team to victories in 2012 and the year 2016. Her six Olympic gold medals comprise of the record-breaking number. Aly was also the winner of two World Championships teams. Aly is from Massachusetts, and a native who fell in love with gymnastics at 18 months when she took a mommy and me class. Aly has been an active supporter of body positive, and is also an active leader as well as a participant at the table. She has recently spoken out about Larry Nassar's sentencing. Aly Raisman was born in 1994 and began her gymnastic career at a young age. She helped her country's U.S. Gymnastics Team win the 2011 World Championships. In 2012, Raisman won two gold medals during the London Olympics One for the team event, and one for individual floor exercises - in addition to winning a bronze in the beam. In the year 2016 Raisman returned to the Olympics in Rio, winning silver medals in the single all-around final, as well as the floor exercise as well as a gold medal in the women's gymnastics team competition. In the year 2017, Raisman revealed she had suffered sexual assault at the treatment of team physician Larry Nassar, and the subsequent year, she sued USA Gymnastics and the U.S. Olympic Committee.
